The Warriors are ready to play their first 2025 NBA Cup fixture.
The Denver Nuggets will lock horns with the Golden State Warriors in an 2025 NBA Cup group stage game on Friday, November 7 at Ball Arena in Denver. The Nuggets entered the game on the back of a 122-112 win over the Miami Heat, while the Warriors slumped to the Sacramento Kings 121-116 in their latest fixture that saw the absence of several All-Stars. Talking about their previous NBA Cup fixtures, the Nuggets suffered a close loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
The duo of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic dropped a combined 43-point show, while other three players including Aaron Gordon, Jonas Valanciunas, Peyton Watson, and Tim Hardaway Jr. finished in double-digit scores. The Dubs, on the flip side, are yet to play their first NBA Cup fixture. Considering their inconsistent form, the Dubs would want to open the in-season tournament with a win.
As for their overall standings in the regular-season, the 2023 champions are seated in the fourth spot of the Western Conference with a 5-2. The Steve Kerr-side, however, are in the seventh spot with a 5-4 win-loss record. Talking about the upcoming game, fans can expect a thrilling encounter as two titans will lock horns in Denver.
