The Minnesota Lynx head into this game after a tough loss to the surging Seattle Storm, who have made a habit of toppling top-tier opponents. Lynx lagged behind throughout the WNBA game.

The Sparks come in confident after a big win over the Las Vegas Aces. Vegas faced a major blow when A’ja Wilson exited the game with an injury, which turned the tide in Sparks’ favor. Rickea Jackson led the charge with a 30-point performance, sealing a 97–89 win for the Sparks.
