ATP Japan Open 2025 Prize Money – How Much Does the Winner & Runner-Up Earn in Tokyo?

The 2025 Japan Open Tennis Championships will be played between 24 September and 30 September. It is a men’s outdoor hard court tournament which is set to take place at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo. Currently an ATP-500 level event, this year marks the 51st edition of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open. World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and former US Open runner-up Taylor Fritz will headline the draw this year.

21-year-old Frenchman Arthur Fils is the reigning champion at the 2025 Japan Open. However, the youngster will not be defending his crown in Tokyo due to an injury. When it comes to men’s doubles, the British pairing of Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool won the trophy in 2024. Unfortunately, they will miss the competition as well.

The total prize money commitment at the 2025 Japan Open Tennis Championships is $2,226,470. The hike in total prize money as well as earnings of winners and finalists is an apparent 22.5% from the 2024 edition of the tournament.
