The Champions League draw is complete, setting the stage for another thrilling season with the new format. Teams from all around Europe are awaiting to begin their continental journeys. However, the full fixture list is yet to be released. Clubs and fans are awaiting the fixture for their favourite teams.
Fans are waiting eagerly to plan their trips. Especially considering the draw ceremony revealed some intriguing matchups in the league phase itself. Fixtures like Real Madrid vs Manchester City, Barcelona vs PSG are offline examples. The exact dates and kick-off times for these games remain under wraps for a little longer.

UEFA has confirmed that the full fixture schedule, including kick-off times, will be released on Saturday, August 30. Until then, fans only know the general matchday windows and time slots. Games will be played at 17:45 BST or 20:00 BST throughout the league phase. Along with this timeframe, UEFA also shared the matchweek windows previously.

Although the exact fixtures will be revealed shortly, here are key matchday windows that UEFA revealed previously –
The knockout stage begins with the play-offs in February 2026. It will be followed by the Round of 16 in March. The final will take place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on 30 May 2026.
This season will continue with the new 36-team league format, which was brought on last year. Each club will play eight matches – four at home and four away. Opponents have already been drawn from four different seeding pots. There were a few rules for the draw.

Clubs from the same country cannot face each other during this stage and that rule was held up. Points will determine a single combined league table. The top eight teams will progress directly to the Round of 16. Meanwhile those finishing 9th to 24th will battle in a two-legged play-off.
The winners will then progress to the round of 16 with the top eight teams. While these league phase fixtures have been revealed, UEFA is set to release the schedule sooner rather than later. Especially with some mouth-watering fixtures on the horizon in the league phase.
