The 2025 WNBA Playoff are all set to begin from September 14, 2025. The league has released the schedule for the post-season phase as the regular season action inches towards a closure.

The WNBA has made several changes to its 2025 playoffs to improve fairness and elevate the overall experience. The Finals have been expanded to a best-of-seven format, giving teams more time to compete and fans more drama, with the higher seed hosting Games 1, 2, 5, and 7.

In the first round, the league has adopted a 1-1-1 format, so both teams get a home game, addressing past concerns about uneven home-court advantage. All playoff teams now travel by charter flights, reducing fatigue and ensuring smoother logistics.
