Wales Men’s Football Fixture for June: What Are the Upcoming Games for Wales National Football Team?

With Bellamy’s men finding form at the right time, 2025 could be a historic year in Wales’ quest for another World Cup appearance.

Wales enter June’s World Cup qualifiers riding a wave of confidence. Under the guidance of Craig Bellamy, the Dragons have gone unbeaten in eight matches since his appointment in summer 2024. Now, they will aim to build on that form with crucial fixtures against Liechtenstein and Belgium in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign.

First up, Wales host Liechtenstein in Cardiff on June 7. It’s a must-win clash against the group’s lowest-ranked side, and one that could further strengthen their grip on a top-two finish. But the bigger test comes three days later on June 10, when they travel to face Belgium in Brussels. Wales have never beaten Belgium away in eight attempts. But, given their recent strong performances, this could be the moment they rewrite history.

Wales’ record against Belgium in recent years is impressive. Since 2013, they’ve lost only two of their eight meetings, including a famous win in EURO 2016 qualifying and a dramatic knockout victory in EURO 2016. While Belgium still boast an impressive squad, Wales are better placed than ever to challenge the Red Devils.

In Group J, North Macedonia currently edge Wales at the top on goal difference, although Belgium have yet to begin their campaign. Only the group winner qualifies automatically for the World Cup, while second-place teams head to a play-off. Fortunately, Wales’ top finish in the previous Nations League campaign has all but guaranteed them a play-off route should they need it.
