The Indiana Fever will welcome the Washington Mystics at home, Grainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday, June 3. The Fever will head into the game on the back of three consecutive losses, with the most-recent loss coming at the hands of the Connecticut Sun. On the other hand, the Mystics registered an 85-63 loss to the New York Liberty in their previous fixture. Meeting second time in a week, the game will see the Fever aiming to avenge the defeat they were handed by the Mystics in their last meeting.

In their previous meeting, the Mystics capitalized on Caitlin Clark’s absence, and registered an 83-77 victory. Brittney Sykes led Washington with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists, while Kiki Iriafen dropped 16 points, eight rebounds and one assist. For the Fever, DeWanna Bonner tallied 21 points, four rebounds and one assists, but it was evident that they missed their star player, Clark, who was out with a left quadriceps strain.

The Fever would want to avoid four straight defeats at any cost and come with a better strategy to bounce back from their three-game losing skid. On the other hand, after defeating Indiana in one game, the Mystics will be confident of taking them down once again. The Indiana Fever have listed Caitlin Clark out for the upcoming game with her left quadriceps injury. This will be the third game that Clark will miss with her injury that she sustained during the loss against the Liberty. They will also have Sophie Cunningham missing Tuesday-night’s clash with her right ankle injury, which re-aggravated during the loss against the Sun. Notably, it is the same injury that kept her out for the first two games in the season.
