Ticket Prices For Indiana Fever’s Game Against Chicago Sky Fall Drastically After Caitlin Clark’s Injury

The ticket prices for the Indiana Fever’s clash against the Chicago Sky have seen a huge drop after the former announced the injury of their superstar Caitlin Clark. Recently, the Fever announced that Clark will be out of action for next two weeks due to her left quadriceps strain that she suffered during their 90-88 loss to the defending champions, New York Liberty. Her injury not only came as a huge blow for the Fever early in the season, but it has also had a dramatic effect on ticket prices for their next two contests.

According to TickPick, ticket prices for Fever’s next four clashes have seen a huge fall. The average price for the tickets of these games has dropped from $137 to $80. Notably, the Fever will be up against Washington and Chicago on Wednesday and Sunday, and both these teams moved their home games to bigger venues to accommodate more fans to see Clark in action.

Before her injury, the ticket prices for Washington’s game at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore began at $41, as per TickPick. However, the prices for the same tickets fell drastically to $14 as of Tuesday. Moreover, the average prices went from $115 to $83.

Apart from that, the game between Fever and Sky was also severely affected, as the fans wouldn’t be able to see intense rivalry between Clark and Angel Reese. The Sky moved their clash against the Fever to United Center, and had get-in prices at $86.

However, as of Tuesday night, the prices dropped to $25, with the average prices falling to 121%. Similarly, the tickets for Fever’s home games against the Sun and Mystics are priced at $13 and $11, respectively.

Stephanie White Reveals Caitlin Clark’s Replacement in Fever’s Lineup

Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White has revealed the replacement for Caitlin Clark in their starting lineup for the next few games. According to White, one of the players who they acquired ahead of their season, veteran Sydney Colson would replace Clark in their starting lineup. While speaking to the media on Tuesday, White said, “We’re going to start Syd at the point tomorrow.”

Steph White said Syd Colson is going to get the start at point guard against the Mystics tomorrow.

She also added that apart from Colson, Sophie Cunningham will also see a bump in her playing minutes. Notably, Colson, a two-time champion, is in her 11th year in the league. While she doesn’t provide the same kind of scoring as Clark, her experience would make her a suitable replacement.
