The Knicks did it again!

Game 2 was a deja vu occurrence for the Celtics. A 20-point lead in the third quarter, check. Blowing the lead by the end of the fourth quarter, check. Mikal Bridges makes the game-winning play, check. Seriously, you can’t cook such a script if you tried your best! It sums up the thrill of the playoffs.

New York once again was down big entering the fourth quarter, but then came up big in the clutch. Jalen Brunson showed that he is one of the most finishers in the league, alongside Tyrese Haliburton.

After an incredible team effort to cut the deficit to a point, Brunson made a mid-range jumper to give his team the lead. Then he made another shot to extend the lead to 3. Jayson Tatum made two free throws and a dunk to get back the lead.

However, Brunson made two free throws after a Jrue Holiday foul to ice the game. After that, Mikal Bridges once again snatched the ball to deny the Celtics the game-winning shot. Bridges also scored 14 points in the last quarter, playing a big role in the win on both ends.

How the Knicks must be feeling vindicated after trading all those first-round picks to get him! At any rate, the Celtics are shooting 25/100 from the three-point line in the series.

The Celtics need Kristaps Porzingis to be healthy again, as their frontline is looking thin with Tatum struggling (28.6% FG). Meanwhile, the Knicks will be glad that Karl-Anthony Towns had a 20+ points night to cover up for a relatively pale 17-point effort by their ace, Jalen Brunson.

The series has gone as expected in terms of total. First game, the bookmakers projected the total around 213 and hit the nail on the head, except that it was an Overtime game. Then they assigned identical odds to a similar mark, and the total went way “under” for 181.

Thus, this series has been the lowest-scoring series in the Conference Finals. For Game 3, the bookmakers have assigned almost identical odds around the 205-206 mark. I chose under for the Celtics in the first two games and was proven right.

But this time, I will choose “over” for the Celtics and the total, too.

Jayson Tatum to score over 27.5 points: Tatum has hit “Under” in the first two games, and both times, I expected him to go “over” the mark. I will still stick to the “Over” projection here.

Karl-Anthony Towns to pull down over 11.5 rebounds: KAT stacked 17 rebounds in Game 2 after a 13-rebound outing in Game 1. I expect him to continue going “over” here.

Derrick White to score over 16.5 points: The Celtics guard has scored 19-20 points in the first two games. I don’t see the scoring trajectory changing here.

New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics Game 6 Prediction- NBA Betting Lines

The Knicks have rocked the Celtics’ boat completely. They are playing the champions for around 30 minutes, but some awful basketball in the final quarter. Tatum needs to get going, or this series can be over in New York itself.

As for the Knicks, they are struggling, but they are scraping during each possession. At any rate, I expect the Celtics to come up with their best 48-minute effort of the game here.

I believe they will pull off a 7+ points win, thus unlike the first two games, I am finally picking them to cover the spread.
