The Denver Nuggets will welcome the LA Clippers at Ball Arena for Game 5 of the first-round NBA Playoffs 2025 series on April 29. The series between the Nuggets and the Clippers was expected to be the most thrilling series, and it hasn’t disappointed thus far. The first game saw the Denver Nuggets securing a narrow 112-110 win to secure an early lead.

The Clippers were quick to respond with a 105-102 win and level the tally. They continued their momentum and secured the upper hand with a lead of two wins. However, Nikola Jokic once again rescued his side from a 3-1 hole in Game 4. The Joker poured in 36 points, 21 rebounds and eight assists to lead the 2023 champions to a 101-99 win, and tie the series 2-2.

The entertaining series has reached Game 5, and both teams are gearing up for a pivotal match-up. The Nuggets and the Clippers would want to secure a win and take a 3-2 lead as they lock horns on Tuesday. However, before that, let’s take a look at their injury reports.

DaRon Holmes, who is recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, was spotted on the court shooting with team officials after practice session on Monday. However, he is not expected to return to action anytime soon, and is on the report listed as out. The Nuggets deal with a concerning blow in the form of Russell Westbrook’s injury, and have listed him as questionable with left foot inflammation. This is the same problem which forced him to sit out of Game 4.

Michael Porter Jr. is listed as probable to play in Game 5 with his left shoulder sprain.
