Ahead of a crucial Game 5, let’s break down the injury report for both teams and its impact on their overall performance.

The Milwaukee Bucks will look to avoid an elimination when they trip to Indiana for a do-or-die fixture on Tuesday evening. After going down 3-1 in the series, this road matchup is crucial for the Bucks. The Pacers are high on confidence after a 129-103 win in Game 4 and one more win will secure their place for the consecutive conference semifinals.

Indiana have won last six home matchups in the NBA playoffs against Milwaukee and won all three previous playoff series between two. The Pacers’ at least six players scored in double-figures in three games out of four. In Game 4, eight Pacers recorded in double figures to create a league record.

Damian Lillard’s injury during the first quarter pushed Milwaukee back in the game and the Pacers outscored them in all four quarters. The Bucks have posted a 20-20 record in road games in regular season and lost first two road games in the playoffs. Pressure is mounting on Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. to extend their series to at least one more game.

Indiana Pacers Injury Report

  • Aaron Nesmith: Probable
  • Bennedict Mathurin: Questionable
  • Isaiah Jackson: Out

The Indian Pacers have announced three players on Tuesday’s injury report. Aaron Nesmith is listed as probable due to a back injury. Bennedict Mathurin’s status has been upgraded to questionable after missing out Game 4 due to abdomen issue.

Isaiah Jackson will be sidelined after sustaining a torn right Achilles tendon against the Pelicans in November.

Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report

  • Tyler Smith: Doubtful
  • Damian Lillard: Out

The Milwaukee Bucks will have a major concern for Game 5 as their key player, Damian Lillard has been listed out for the crucial matchup. The nine-time All-Star had a non-contact injury in the first quarter and limped to the locker room. Lillard recently came back to Bucks’ roster after missing one-month of action due to a blood clot in his right calf.

Apart from Lillard, Tyler Smith has been listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s matchup against Indiana due to a left ankle sprain.
