The all-thrilling Western Conference has got almost all its matchups for the first round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. The post regular season knockout phase will begin from Saturday with the Denver Nuggets hosting the Los Angeles Clippers. The West saw one of the toughest fights for playoffs berths right till the end of the last day of the regular season.
Standings from 4th to 8th were all fighting to get into the 2025 NBA Playoffs through direct qualification. Golden State Warriors who were poised to get the berth without a sweat due to their sweet, post Jimmy Butler record saw themselves drop into the Play-In tournament. This was due to lack of focus which saw teams like Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs beat them.
However, the Golden State Warriors won their first Play-In game against the Memphis Grizzlies by 121-116, thus making it to the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Only the 8th seed is left vacant, with the Dallas Mavericks fighting out with the Grizzlies. The fixture will determine the final picture of the Western Conference 2025 NBA playoffs.
