The Boston Celtics’ title defense begins this Saturday, with the Thunder obviously entering as the main favorite for the 2025 NBA championship. But beware—surprises can happen, and the other teams have their eyes firmly set on the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
Boston, of course, won’t be left behind: the reigning champions are fully committed to defending their crown as they chase a 19th NBA title in franchise history. But in the Eastern Conference, the Cavaliers, Knicks, and Pacers are also ready to shake things up.
Out West, the Rockets—who finished second in the regular season to everyone’s surprise—have no intention of stopping now. And let’s not forget, LeBron James would love to add another ring to his collection, especially with the help of new teammate Luka Doncic. The Nuggets and Clippers will be just as dangerous.
Unless the surprise comes from the play-in?
