Pistons 119-134 Nuggets

Nikola Jokic scored 23 points, 17 rebounds and 15 assists to guide Denver Nuggets a comfortable win over Detroit Pistons. Jamal Murray added 31 points, and Michael Porter Jr. had 28. Christian Braun contributed 23 points for the Nuggets, who snapped Detroit’s eight-game winning streak.

Malik Beasley led the Pistons with 16 points off the bench. Cade Cunningham managed only 11 points on 3-for-12 shooting. The Pistons cut the deficit to 15 points in the fourth quarter but it was a delayed effort.

Hawks 119-135 Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder’s dominant run over Eastern Conference rivals continues as the West-leaders beat Atlanta Hawks 135-119. MVP contender, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points and Luguentz Dort added 20.

Jalen Williams chipped in with 20 points and the Thunder improved to 21-1 against the Eastern Conference. Onyeka Okongwu scored 23 points and 13 rebounds for the Hawks. Caris LeVert added 23 points while Trae Young had 19 points and 12 assists.

Celtics 116-123 Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers overcame a 22-point deficit to beat the NBA Champions, Boston Celtics in the final regular-season meeting. The Celtics had a 22-5 start in the opening quarter but Cavs snatched a victory through second-half outburst. Donovan Mitchell scored 41 points, and Darius Garland had 20.

Evan Mobley dropped 17 points and 12 rebounds. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 46 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists. Jaylen Brown finished with 37 points. Boston played without starters Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis. Both teams ended the regular-season series 2-2.

Grizzlies 113-114 Knicks

OG Anunoby’s go-ahead 3-pointer with 5.3 seconds helped New York Knicks to snatch a crucial victory against the Memphis Grizzlies. Anunoby finished with 19 points. Jalen Brunson scored 23 points and six assists while Deuce McBride added 17 off the bench. Mikal Bridges also contributed 15 points.

Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 25 points and seven assists. Desmond Bane added 24 points and matched his season high with 12 rebounds. Jaren Jackson Jr. chipped in with 18 points.

Lakers 106-102 Clippers

Los Angeles Lakers avenged the previous loss against the Clippers with a 106-102 win at home. Luka Doncic scored 31 points on his 26th birthday and LeBron James added 28 points and 13 rebounds. Lakers improved to 37-21 in the West with fifth straight win. Lakers played last three quarters without Austin Reaves, who left the game due to injury.

Ivica Zubac dropped a season-high 27 points and 16 rebounds for the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard added 21 points, and James Harden chipped in with 18. The latter went 5-for-22 from the floor and 1-for-10 on 3-pointers. Clippers have dropped four out of five games since the All-Star break.
