Lakers vs Warriors: Will Jimmy Butler make his Warriors debut tonight?

Swati Bhatia

Warriors will play Lakers on Thursday.

After two months of uncertainty and chaos, Jimmy Butler has successfully managed to find his way out of Miami. The forward was traded to the Golden State Warriors in a deal that also involved the Detroit Pistons and Utah Jazz. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Miami Heat will receive Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson, PJ Tucker, and a first-round pick in exchange for Butler.

When is Jimmy Butler expected to make his debut for Warriors?

Although Butler will be able to join Golden State quickly, as he hadn’t been traveling with the Heat due to suspension, he is unlikely to feature in the Warriors’ game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. The 35-year-old could join the team in Chicago for Saturday’s clash against Bulls or could make his debut against Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.
