Oklahoma City Thunder’s star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued his red-hot run and finished with another fifty-point performance in the game against the Suns. With this, he also joined an exclusive NBA club. On the other hand, the Spurs’ debutant De’Aaron Fox helped the side register a close 126-125 win over the Hawks in a thrilling encounter on Feb. 5.

The Eastern Conference leaders Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back from the previous loss against the Celtics and took down the Pistons 118-115. Evan Mobley came up with a 30-point performance with nine rebounds and seven assists while Darius Garland chipped in 25 points for the side. On the Pistons side, Cade Cunningham came up with 38 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 20 points while Ausar Thompson added 12 points.
The San Antonio Spurs registered a close 126-125 win over the Atlanta Hawks in a thrilling encounter which saw De’Aaron Fox making his debut for the ultimate winners. Fox, who was traded by the Kings a couple of days ago, finished with 24 points, five rebounds, 13 assists and three steals. Moreover, Victor Wembanyama also put up 24 points, to guide the side to an exciting win. Devin Vassell added 20 points.
On the other hand, Trae Young recorded a game-high 32 points, followed by Onyeka Okongwu’s 30 points for the Hawks.

The Milwaukee Bucks went on to register their 27th win of the season as they defeated the Charlotte Hornets 112-102. Damian Lillard posted 29 points on the scoreboard with four rebounds and 12 assists while Bobby Portis Jr. had 23 points and a game-high 17 rebounds. Gary Trent Jr. scored 13 points with six rebounds.
Nick Smith Jr. had 23 points with two rebounds and similar assists, for the Hornets. Miles Bridges and KJ Simpson had 15 points each. Moussa Diabate and Tidjane Salaun scored 10 points each.
The Memphis Grizzlies recorded their fourth straight win as they edged past the Raptors 138-107. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the charts with 32 points, five rebounds and four assists while Ja Morant had 26 points, five rebounds and four assists to add. GG Jackson II scored 17 points, whereas, Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke scored 13 points each.
Ja’Kobe Walter, Jamal Shead and Ochai Agbaji scored 14 points each while Gradey Dick added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Raptors.
The Miami Heat, who traded their star Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors, came back from their previous defeat and recorded a 108-101 win over the 76ers. Tyler Herro had 30 points to add along with seven rebounds and seven assists. Nikola Jovic added 23 points with five rebounds and seven assists, whereas Terry Rozier contributed 20 points.
On the other hand, Tyrese Maxey came up with 31 points while Kelly Oubre Jr. had 15 points to contribute. The Sixers were once again without Joel Embiid, who made a stunning triple-double comeback against the Mavericks, and his absence was felt.
The Washington Wizards continued their winning run as they took down the Brooklyn Nets in a 119-102 match. Jordan Poole had 19 points while Corsey Kispert and Kyshawn George added 17 points apiece. On the Nets’ side, Keon Johnson scored 25 points while Cameron Johnson added 17 points, followed by Tosan Evbuomwan’s 15 points.
Anthony Edwards’ remarkable 49-point performance guided the Timberwolves to a remarkable 127-108 win over the Bulls. Naz Reid added 22 points along with ten rebounds and six assists. While the Bulls recorded their third loss in the last six games, the night belonged to Josh Giddey. He finished the night with 19 points, four rebounds and four assists and became the only third player to reach 500 points, 300 rebounds, and 300 assists this season, joining the likes of Nikola Jokic and LeBron James. Coby White chipped in 20 points.
The Utah Jazz dominated the Steph Curry-led Golden State Warriors with a close 131-128 win. Jordan Clarkson came up with 31 points while Keyonte George had 26 points to add. On the other hand, the four-time NBA champion, Steph Curry came up with a solid 32-pointer performance while Brandin Podziemski had 29 points to add along with six rebounds and four assists.
In another exciting game of the night, the Denver Nuggets recorded their fourth straight win as they handed a 144-119 defeat to the Pelicans. Michael Porter Jr. led the charts with 39 points while Nikola Jokic added 38 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists.
On the Pelicans’ side, Zion Williamson scored 28 points while Trey Murphy III added 25 points to the scoreboard.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander once again stole the show with his brilliant performance as he powered the Oklahoma City Thunder for a blowout 140-109 win over the Phoenix Suns. As the Thunder recorded their 40th win of the season, Shai scored another 50-point performance and joined an exclusive NBA club. He became the ninth player in history to have three 50-point performances within a seven-game span. Aaron Wiggins finished with a 17 point performance while adding six rebounds and one assist.
On the other hand, Bradley Beal scored 25 points along with three rebounds and six assists, whereas Devin Booker had 19 points and Royce O’Neale scored 18 points.
Franz Wagner led the Orlando Magic to a big 130-111 win over the Sacramento Kings with his 31 points, five rebounds and three assists. Paolo Banchero had 23 points and nine assists while Anthony Black came up with 15 points, one rebound and three assists.
On the Kings’ side, Domantas Sabonis came up with 31 points, 13 rebounds and three assists, followed by DeMar DeRozan’s 19 pointer performance.
