The 2025 Pro Bowl games is here. Once again, we will have the AFC taking on the NFC for a multi-day skill based challenge. Gone are the days where tackling took place in the Pro Bowl games. Since the last two season, tackling has not been present in the Pro Bowl games. Rather, the NFL has switched the format to flag football. The event features a week of exciting competition between the two conferences and a 7 on 7 flag football game.

Just like the NBA, the NFL has also struggled with viewership numbers on their All-star games. Part of the reason why is because many star players remain absent since the event takes place near the Super Bowl weekend. It is also because of the light hearted competition that takes place rather than players going all out in the event.

The Skills Showdown

The Skills Showdown event was held on January 30th, 2025. We saw Eli Manning’s NFC team take on Peyton Manning’s AFC team. It was a very tough competition as the two conferences went head to head in multiple events. First we saw Jared Goff (NFC) and Joe Burrow face off in Passing the test.

The second event was called Satisfying Catches where Justin Jefferson and the NFC beat the AFC again. The third event was known as Big Spike. Quinnen Williams finally led the AFC to their first victory and the score was now 6-3.

The next event was called Helmet Harmony. We watched NFC and AFC battle for who knew their teammates. The NFC squad again came out on top. We also had a relay race event where the NFC again beat the AFC. The last event was Dodgeball, where AFC was crowned victorious.

Eli’s NFC is currently leading and ended the night with a 14-7 lead over the AFC.

What time does the Pro Bowl start?

The Pro Bowl starts at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT and will take place in Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

Pro Bowl Events Today

The Pro Bowl games championship will take place on February 2nd, 2025. We will see the Eli Manning’s NFC take on Peyton Manning’s AFC in a 7 on 7 Flag football game. The Pro Bowl festivities started on January 30th with the Skills Showdown event.
