The Warriors need to figure things out soon
The Warriors come into this game after an 8-point win against the Washington Wizards after a season-high 31-point outburst by Andrew Wiggins. They have won two in a row but have lost 17 out of their last 26 games. Stephen Curry has lacked ample backcourt support as both Buddy Hield and Brandin Podziemski haven’t lived up to expectations. Meanwhile, Coach Steve Kerr hasn’t found the required help from the low-scoring frontline and the team needs an offensive option in both the power forward and center options. At this rate, the Warriors will crash out before the playoffs for the second straight season.
The Celtic have lost their steam
The Celtics enter the contest after a four-point loss against the Atlanta Hawks despite a near triple-double by Jaylen Brown. They have lost four of their last seven games and haven’t won more than three games in a row since late November. They jack up just under 50 triples a game(a record in the NBA), but are making 17.8 threes per game on 36.2%(16th). Meanwhile, their defense has been above average as they have given up 108 points per game(6th). However, their offense has lacked the bite compared to last season, which has held them back.

The Warriors have been miserable for a couple of months, but on a positive note, Andrew Wiggins has found his groove. Meanwhile, the Celtics are having troubles of their own but a strong start has given them a cushion to afford some loose play. At any rate, the Celts will enter as the clear favorites and may restrict the Warriors below 105 points while scoring 109-114 points here.

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
