Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starred in Thunder's win over Cavaliers on Thursday.

The Oklahoma City Thunder avenged their last loss by recording a blowout 134-114 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, January 16. The victory came a week after both sides locked horns in Cleveland on January 8, where the Eastern Conference leaders recorded a 129-122 win. The second meeting between conference leaders saw Thunder’s MVP frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander taking the charge, scoring 40 points and reaching a new high.

While Thunder fans are eagerly waiting to see him back in action against Dallas Mavericks on Friday, there is a slight concern on his availability for the high-profile matchup.
