A Standing Ovation for Marc-Andre Fleury in Vegas

Marc-Andre Fleury will always be in Golden Knights' fans heat

It may have been the last time Marc-Andre Fleury played an NHL game in Vegas, and the crowd made sure to give him a heartfelt tribute.

Marc-Andre Fleury, who wore the Golden Knights jersey from 2017 to 2021, was instrumental in the success of the Nevada expansion franchise. Not suiting up for the Wild in this game after playing the night before against the San Jose Sharks, Fleury experienced the emotional moment from the bench.

His emotions were evident as fans held up signs with messages of love and appreciation.

While he didn’t win a Stanley Cup during his time with Vegas, Fleury was awarded the Vezina Trophy as the league’s best goaltender in the 2020-21 season.

In this 2024-25 season, Fleury is set to retire after 21 remarkable seasons at the highest level of hockey.

Next stop: the Hall of Fame.
