Former LA Clippers star disagrees with Kevin Durant’s NBA all-time statement on Nikola Jokic

Kevin Durant credited the Nuggets superstar as a top ten NBA player of all-time.

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic proved why he is on the way to become an NBA all-time great and his rival, Kevin Durant feels the same. However, the 17-year NBA veteran, Lou Williams is not agree with the Suns legend.

The 41st overall in the 2014 NBA Draft has won three MVPs in the last four years and chasing his fourth this season. He finished second to Joel Embiid when he lost the MVP race in these four years. Jokic guided Denver Nuggets to the 2023 NBA Championship and won the Finals MVP award.

“I don’t know if [Jokic] makes my personal top ten, but he’s for sure one of those guys that’s going to make a huge mark on this league,” the three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year said.

“What he’s been able to accomplish, what he’s still building out throughout his career. But right now, I for sure have got ten guys in front of him that I feel like have put together better bodies of work,” Lou Williams concluded.

Nikola Jokic is putting his name ahead in the 2025 MVP award. The Serbian superstar is averaging 31.6 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 9.9 assists per game with 55.6/47.7/80.4 shooting splits. The conversation will be continued until Jokic wins another NBA championship. Denver Nuggets are likely to qualify into the playoffs and Jokic would target a championship more than the MVP award this year.
