2025 UCL Final Unlocks Unique Feat After 21 Long Years, Mimics the 2004 Final!

Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan will contest the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League final at the Allianz Arena on June 1. Interestingly, the highly-anticipated final has unlocked a unique feat in Champions League that will take place after 21 long years.

Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan booked their place in the showpiece after edging past Barcelona in a thrilling semifinal with 7–6 aggregate score. Meanwhile, Luis Enrique’s PSG overcame Arsenal 3–1 on aggregate to secure just their second appearance in a Champions League final. After the exciting semifinal ties, the stage is now set for a monumental clash between two of Europe’s elite teams.

Notably, for the first time in over two decades, the UEFA Champions League final will not feature a single team from Spain, England or Germany. This historic twist will mimic the 2004 final between Porto and Monaco, which was the last time when Europe’s most prestigious match was contested without involvement from La Liga, the Premier League or the Bundesliga.
