Josh Allen tops the QB rankings after week 4 of the 2025-26 NFL season!
With the conclusion of week 4 of the NFL season, there have been several standout performers putting up big numbers and making valuable contributions to their teams. In that regard, this article will feature the 2025 NFL QB ranking for week 4.
Quarterbacks, being the most important players on any NFL team, despite the game being a collective team effort, are generally the ones who receive the bulk of the praise or criticism in wins and losses. That said, here are the top 10 NFL quarterbacks as of week 4.
At the top of the list is the reigning NFL MVP, Josh Allen. The Bills have begun the season strongly, and Allen is the biggest part of their success thus far. The 29-year-old boasts a completion percentage of 70.2% with 7 touchdowns and 1 interception, as well as 159 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |

At number 2 on the list is Detroit Lions’ signal caller, Jared Goff. The Lions started slowly with a loss to the Packers in week 1, but since then, they have returned to their high-flying form of the past couple of seasons. Goff has been the focal point of the offense and has a 73.8% completion rate with 9 passing touchdowns.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 929 | 73.8% | 9 | 2 |
The Baltimore Ravens may be 1-3 to start the season, but that is not because of quarterback Lamar Jackson. The 2-time MVP has been playing at a high level and has 10 passing touchdowns and just 1 interception, along with a completion percentage over 70.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 869 | 71.6% | 10 | 1 |
Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have gotten off to an excellent start at 3-1 on the season. Mayfield, for his part, has found a great connection with rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka. He has 8 touchdowns and just one pick through the first four games.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 904 | 59.7% | 8 | 1 |

Similar to Mayfield and the Bucs, Matthew Stafford has led the Los Angeles Rams to a 3-1 record, falling only to the Philadelphia Eagles in week 3. Stafford’s 1114 passing yards are the second most in the league so far.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 1114 | 67.6% | 8 | 2 |
Joining the Steelers in the offseason was probably the best decision for the veteran quarterback at this stage of his career. He has led Pittsburgh to a 3-1 record and is enjoying his chemistry with wideout DK Metcalf.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 786 | 68.5% | 8 | 3 |
Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers are seeing the positive effects of an O-line that can protect its quarterback. A newly formed chemistry with wide receiver Quentin Johnston has given the team a huge boost. Herbert has already eclipsed 1,000 passing yards in just 4 games.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 1063 | 63.8% | 7 | 3 |
The Chiefs started poorly through the first couple of weeks, although quarterback Patrick Mahomes did his best to keep his team in games. The past couple of weeks have been better, and it is starting to look as if Kansas City is getting ready to bring back the explosive plays missing since the departure of Tyreek Hill.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 939 | 61.3% | 7 | 2 |

Jalen Hurts is the only quarterback, apart from Josh Allen, to be undefeated this year. The Eagles, however, haven’t had to rely overly on him to win games, and his stats reflect the same.
That said, Hurts has done an excellent job thus far of protecting the ball and has yet to throw an interception through the first four weeks. He does have 4 rushing touchdowns, though two of them came from the Tush Push.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 609 | 69.3% | 5 | 0 |
Daniel Jones is having a resurgence in Indianapolis, and things have completely turned around not only for him, but for the Colts as well. With 1078 passing yards, Jones sits third overall so far.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 1078 | 71.9% | 4 | 2 |

Sam Darnold is continuing his upward career trajectory since turning into a completely new player last season. He has the Seahawks at a 3-1 record and is in sync with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Although the list of top ten NFL quarterbacks is complete, there are still a couple of signal callers who deserve honorable mentions for their performances. Dak Prescott is at the top of the list of most passing yards and also has nearly a 73% completion rate. Unfortunately, though, his record is working against him.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 1119 | 72.9% | 6 | 3 |
Green Bay Packers’ signal caller Jordan Love is also another player worthy of making this list. However, his past couple of performances have hindered his climb.
| Games Played | Passing Yards | Completion % | TD | INT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 1000 | 69.4% | 8 | 1 |
That brings us to the end of this week’s NFL QB ranking. Week 5 is just around the corner, with the Rams going up against the 49ers on Thursday Night Football (TNF) to kick things off.

nfl I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
