NBA's All-Star Dunk Contest was a complete ride of entertainment and best among all three events.
The 2025 NBA All-Star event was full of entertainment on Saturday night, witnessing some cracking contests including the skills challenge, the 3-point contest and the slam-dunk contest. It was a record-breaking night in San Francisco from rule violation to three-peat achievement.
Let’s learn about the winners in Saturday’s NBA All-Star event.
Cleveland Cavaliers’ Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell beat the hometown duo, Moses Moody and Green to win the NBA’s Skills Challenge title. The Caves raced through the course in 1 minute, 0.3 seconds in the final round.
The rookie duo of Zaccharie Risacher (Atlanta Hawks) and Alex Sarr (Washington Wizards) were eliminated in the first round. Spurs duo of Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul was disqualified in the opening round. They were loudly booed for trying to cheat the rules.
“We tried something that we thought could win,” Paul said. “To see if we had the best time, so … it was fun.”

It was Miami Heat’s first 3-Point Contest title since 2011 and they became the most successful franchise in NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest with 5 trophies. Herro scored 24 points in the final and Buddy Hield ended with 23 points. Darius Garland finished third with 19 points in the final round.
“I got lucky,” Herro said. “I thought Buddy was going to run off the last five. It was a great competition.”
Hield also tied his Warriors teammate Stephen Curry for the most points ever in a round. He scored 31 points in the opening round of the competition. Cam Johnson (Nets), Norman Powell (Clippers), Cade Cunningam (Pistons) and Jalen Brunson (Knicks) failed to advance out of the first round.
NBA’s All-Star Dunk Contest 2025 was a complete ride of entertainment and it felt like a cherry on the cake. Mac McClung edged out San Antonio’s Stephon Castle, the Rising Stars MVP in the final round. He pulled off four perfect dunks for the NBA dunk contest three-peat.
The G League star recorded perfect scores of 50 on all four of his jaw-dropping dunks. McClung is now the first player to win NBA’s Slam-Dunk Contest for three consecutive years. Chicago’s Matas Buzelis and Milwaukee’s Andre Jackson Jr. faced elimination in the first round.
