The clay courts of Am Rothenbaum are once again set to host some of the fiercest battles on the WTA Tour as the Hamburg Ladies Open returns in 2025. Since its revival in 2021, the tournament has reestablished itself as a summer staple on the European clay swing, drawing up to 10,000 fans to Germany’s second-largest city.

Now a WTA 250 event after previously featuring as a WTA 125, the 2025 edition promises even more competitive flair. Held from July 14 to 20 this year, the tournament continues as part of the mixed-gender Hamburg Open, where 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams will compete for glory on the iconic red clay.

WTA MSC Hamburg Ladies Open 2025 Prize Money

The 2025 Hamburg Ladies Open offers a total prize pool of $275,094, with plenty at stake for players outside the Top 20. This year’s champion will walk away with $36,300 and 250 points. The runner-up earns $21,484 and 163 points, while semifinalists will pocket $11,970 and 98 points each.

Quarterfinalists receive $6,820 and 54 points, and reaching the round of 16 nets $4,470 and 30 points. Even a first-round exit brings $3,110 and a single ranking point. With no byes in the draw, every match and every win counts.
