WNBA Same Game Parlay for Aces vs Valkyries- Kayla Thornton special?

The Las Vegas Aces and the Golden State Valkyries have been at opposite ends of the spectrum. The Aces (9-11) have performed way below expectations. On the other hand, the Valkyries (10-9) have more than exceeded them.

The Valkyries handed the Aces a 95-68 drubbing during the last meeting. Will the story repeat itself, or can the Aces find their way? The bigger question is if their ace A’ja Wilson will return for the contest? At any rate, here is my favorite Same Game Parlay for the match.

WNBA Same Game Parlay Pick #1- Points: Kayla Thornton

Thornton made her first-ever WNBA All-Star team this season. She is averaging an impressive 15.1 PPG this season. The forward has scored 13 in at least four of the last five games. Meanwhile, she scored 22 in the last match-up against the Las Vegas Aces, converting 8 of her 16 shots.

Thornton isn’t always efficient, but her lack of fear makes her a dangerous scorer. If she gets going, the forward can easily go up for 15+. But to be on the safe side, I am choosing a 12+ points prop.

Thornton has become one of the most lethal stretch-fours in the W. She is averaging a career-high 1.9 makes per game from deep on a so-so 28.9% shooting. As I said, Thornton is a fearless shooter; she doesn’t care about misses.

At any rate, she has nailed at last 2 long-range bombs in eight of the last eleven games. Thornton connected on 4 out of 8 attempts in the last game against the Aces. Thus, I see her making at least 2 triples here, too.

WNBA Same Game Parlay #3- Veronica Burton- 3-Pointers

Burton is enjoying the best season of her career thus far. She averaged less than 4 PPG in her first three seasons. Currently, she is tallying 10.8 PPG. Her 34.6% shooting is horrid, but her long-range contributions have been vital.

The PG has nailed 1.3 out of 3.8 three-pointers per game (34.2%), which is more than respectable in the W. Burton will enter the game after converting five out of 8 triples against the Indiana Fever in the last match-up.

She has now made at least 2 in three of the last four games. Thus, I expect her to follow suit.

I wouldn’t term my SGP picks as low-risk, but they are not high-risk either. The bloated odds are alluring, though, for the expected picks.
