WNBA Same Game Parlay: Dream vs Valkyries Prediction

The Golden State Valkyries (9-8) have more than exceeded expectations in their first-ever season. Their leading scorer, Kayla Thornton made it to the All-Star team. But to be frank, they are one of the most well-rounded units in the league.

On the other hand, the Atlanta Dream (11-7) is finally ascending after years of falling short before the playoffs. The backcourt of Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard has ample inside support from Brionna Jones and Britney Griner.

So, can the Valkyries bring a nightmare scenario to the Dream here? Check out my favorite Same Game Parlay here.

WNBA Same Game Parlay Pick #1- Spread: Dream -6.5

Yeah, the Valkyries have been fantastic. No team overturns the odds more than then. They lost by 11 points against the best team in the league, the Minnesota Lynx. But who hasn’t struggled against Minnesota?

Before that, they had won seven of the nine games. Meanwhile, the Dream has hit a lean period. A one-point loss against the Seattle Strom would have stung the most this season. They started 10-4 but have lost three of their four games.

At any rate, I believe Atlanta will turn things around here and cover the spread.

Jones is one of the reasons why the Dream has an over 60% win rate. Her offensive output comes at an efficient clip. The Dream Center is shooting 51% FG. Some terrific offensive rebounding supports her paint operations as she has pulled down 3.3 ORPG.

She has contributed 14 points per game, scoring at least 13 points in six of the seven games. Thus, it is not that risky to expect her to cross the 12-point mark here.

WNBA Same Game Parlay Pick #3- Points+Rebounds+Assists- Allisha Gray O 25.5

Allisha Gray earned high All-Star rankings from both media and players, for good reason. She is putting up 19.1 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 4.1 APG this season. It gives her a game score of 28.8. Gray has compiled a game score of 27 in four of the last five matches.

Her points production is down (From 20+ PPG early in the season to around 16-17 PPG these days). But her rebounding numbers are up(9.7 RPG over the last three games). Thus, I wager her to cross the game score of 25 at least.

The player props picks are safe but the spread pick is tricky. Overall, this is a low-risk SGP.
