On another exciting Monday, a total of four teams clashed against each other in two games. The Minnesota Lynx quickly got back on the winning track and defeated the Chicago Sky in a blowout fashion. In another game, the Phoenix Mercury recorded their 15th victory of the WNBA 2025 season and took down the Golden State Valkyries in a narrow win.

Minnesota Lynx 91-78 Chicago Sky

The Minnesota Lynx avenged their recent defeat to the Chicago Sky and recorded a 91-78 victory in their match up on Monday, July 14. In their previous meeting, the Sky recorded a stunning 87-81 victory over their counterparts. However, the Lynx were quick to bounce back and ended up registering their 19th victory of the season. The Lynx had Napheesa Collier dropping 29 points, three rebounds and five assists while Courtney Williams dropped 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Apart from them, Kayla McBride finished with 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists whereas Bridget Carleton tallied 11 points, five rebounds and two assists. On the Sky’s side, Angel Reese went off for 22 points, 10 rebounds and three assists while Rachel Banham dropped 15 points, two rebounds and two assists. In addition, Rebecca Allen came up with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Sky.

Phoenix Mercury 78-77 Golden State Valkyries

The Phoenix Mercury registered their third win in a row as they took down the Golden State Valkyries with a narrow margin 78-77 on Monday. DeWanna Bonner led the Mercury’s charts with a total of 22 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists. This was the fifth time a player posted 20+ points and 10+ rebounds off the bench in Mercury’s history. Apart from it, Alyssa Thomas dropped 17 points, six rebounds and 11 assists while Kathryn Westbeld came up with 14 points, two rebounds and two assists. With the win, head coach Nate Tibbetts became the fifth winningest coach in the history of the franchise.

Valkyries, on the other hand, slumped to their 11th loss of the season. Veronica Burton dropped 17 points, two rebounds and six assists while Tiffany Hayes came up with 15 points, three rebounds and four assists. Other than them, Janelle Salaun tallied 12 points, three rebounds and one assist.
