Tuesday, August 12, was another thrilling day in the 2025 WNBA season, where four teams engaged in two entertaining clashes. On one end, the Dallas Wings traveled to Indianapolis to clash against the Indiana Fever, while on the other, the Los Angeles Sparks hosted the reigning champions, New York Liberty. So, how did the meetings go, and which team managed to dominate its rival, let’s find out.

Dallas Wings 81-80 Indiana Fever

The Dallas Wings recorded a narrow 81-80 victory over the Indiana Fever in an entertaining clash on Tuesday. The victory ended the five-game losing skid of the Wings, and pushed their 2025 tally to 9-24. The Wings were led by Maddy Siegrist, who recorded her season high 22 points, five rebounds, and one assist. She was shooting three-of-five from beyond the arc, and 9-of-13 from the field. Li Yueru dropped 20 points and four rebounds off the bench, while Paige Bueckers poured in 16 points, five rebounds, and eight assists.

On the other hand, the Fever, who missed Caitlin Clark for yet another game, were led by Kelsey Mitchell’s 24 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Aliyah Boston and Sophie Cunningham dropped 14 points each. Apart from them, Natasha Howard chipped in 12 points, 12 rebounds, and one assist while Chloe Bibby tallied 11 points and two rebounds.

The New York Liberty bounced back from their previous defeat to the Minnesota Lynx, and rolled past the Los Angeles Sparks 105-97. Emma Meesseman led the Liberty with 24 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. She was shooting 60% from the field and 86% from the free-throw line. Jonquel Jones dropped 21 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, while Leonie Fiebich came up with 20 points, two rebounds, and four assists. Not only this, but two more players including Sabrina Ionescu and Natasha Cloud finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Kelsey Plum, on the other hand, came up with 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists for the Sparks. Dearica Hamby dropped 21 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, whereas Azura Stevens contributed 17 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Rickea Jackson poured in 16 points, seven rebounds, and three assists for the Sparks.
