WNBA Injury Report Los Angeles Sparks vs Connecticut Sun: Updates on Cameron Brink and More

The Los Angeles Sparks host the Connecticut Sun in a weekend battle as both sides fight to climb out from the league’s bottom tier. Currently 11th in the standings, the Sparks have secured six wins, while the Sun sit at the bottom of the WNBA table with only three wins to their name.

The Los Angeles Sparks put up a brave fight against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday. Despite momentum not on their side, they gave a tough fight against the league leaders. The Sparks opened strong with a 26-22 first-quarter lead, catching the Lynx momentarily off guard.

However, the previous seasons’ runners-up made a fierce comeback in the second quarter, taking a huge lead into the second half. That surge set the tone for the remainder of the contest, culminating in a 91-82 Lynx victory. Kelsey Plum scored 17 points from the home side.

The Connecticut Sun lost out against the Seattle Storm on Friday. Seattle Storm dominated the whole match apart from the first quarter and beat the Sun by 79-65. Tina Charles stood out for the Sun with a solid 20-point, 10-rebound double-double performance.
