The Connecticut Sun are reeling from a historic thrashing by the Liberty and desperately seek redemption Friday. While the Atlanta Dream have had a smooth sailing and will look to further cause frustrations to their opponent.

The Atlanta Dream extended their season record to 5-2 with a hard-fought win over the Seattle Storm. They are currently on a four game winning streak as well. Storm had a perfect first half against their opponents with a 45-34 scoreline.

However, the Storm unraveled in the second half, allowing the Dream to mount a ferocious and clinical comeback. Their 29-21 lead in the third quarter and 31-21 performance in the fourth resulted in a 94-87 win. Rhyne Howard exploded for 33 points, while Allisha Gray added a fiery 28-point performance of her own.

The Connecticut Sun suffered a humiliating 52-100 blowout defeat against the dominant New York Liberty. This is the biggest blowout performance by any team in WNBA history.
