Another week, another key absence
The Las Vegas Aces head into Friday’s clash after a recent setback against the Indiana Fever. The Lynx are comfortably sitting on the top of the WNBA points table.
Aces put up a decent performance visiting the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. They took a half-time lead after a brilliant second quarter. However, Indiana responded strongly in the third quarter, reclaiming control with a sharp offensive run.
The Aces lost momentum by the fourth, allowing the Fever to pull away with an 80-70 win. A’ja Wilson was right on the money, scoring 20 points. Jackie Young wasn’t far away in terms of effort with her 19 points.
