The Connecticut Sun hosted the New York Liberty in a high-stakes weekend clash with the standings on the line. The visitors had a good start with a 20-15 lead in the first quarter. The game flipped dramatically after a dominant second-quarter showing from the Sun (29-17).
The Sun held their advantage firm with a 20-18 edge in the third quarter. By the final quarter, the game was already sealed for the Connecticut Sun, and they won by 78-62.
