The WNBA Friday slate is as enthralling as it gets. Five teams are squaring off during the action-packed day, an infrequent event in the league. So, which Same Game Parlay can you pick among the abundant choices on May 31? These are my most reliable WNBA Same Game Parlay picks based on BetMGM.
Pick #1: Indiana Fever vs Connecticut Sun: Spread: Sun +12.5 (-105 Straight)
The bookmakers have full faith in a blowout win for Indiana despite missing their #1 player, Caitlin Clark. It has more to do with the new-look Sun than Indiana. Connecticut has a 0-5 record and has lost 3 games by 12 or more points.
Their offense is in tatters, and when it gets going, their defense implodes. But the Fever has started slow, too, with a 2-3 record. They lost 77-83 to a feisty Washington Mystics without Clark. Overall, I do believe Indiana will win, but expect the Sun to cover the spread at least.
Pick #2: Phoenix Mercury vs Minnesota Lynx: Spread -3.5 (-115 Straight)
The Lynx have picked up right where they left off during last season’s Finals campaign. They have started 5-0 but have to grind their way out of wins. Their last three victories have been within a 4-6 point margin.
As for the Mercury, the decision to pair Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas has worked wonderfully. They are 4-1, and their engine isn’t slowing down soon if injuries stay away. They are a tough match-up for the Lynx, but I see Minnesota winning by 5-7 points.
Pick #3: Las Vegas Aces vs Los Angeles Sparks: Total U 166.5 (-115 Straight)
The Aces have scored in the 75-82 points range thus far, whereas the Sparks have also scored 80+ in most games. Both teams have terrific offensive tools, but defensively, they have looked vulnerable, both conceding 85+ on multiple occasions.
However, I see a defensive battle in this game with the score going under 165 or so.
WNBA SGP: Sun +12.5, Mercury -3.5, and Sparks vs Aces: Total U 166.5: +582 at BetMGM

This WNBA SGP has more or less safe picks, as indicated by the -115 straight odds for all three games. The Lynx’s spread makes the most sense, whereas I have faith the Sun will be much better than the bookmakers expect.
The Sparks-Aces total can be a bit touch-and-go, but overall, I believe it will be a sub-80 effort for both teams. Overall, I am pretty confident in these picks.

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
