WNBA Best Bets: WNBA Parlay Picks for 03/07/2025

The WNBA season is reaching the All-Star weekend territory. Thus, most of the teams have shown what potential trajectory they can take from here. However, you never know when a midseason turnaround is knocking on the door.

All that only adds to the fun for the betting enthusiasts. On July 3, they will have plenty to look forward to as we have a loaded five-game slate. Here are my best NBA bets for the Thursday action.

WNBA Best Bet #1- Minnesota Lynx vs Washington Mystics: Mystics +11.5 (-105 Straight)

The bookmakers are confident that the Lynx are going to recover in a major fashion after a shocking 59-74 loss in the Commissioner’s Cup Final. The result has no bearing on the season record as the Lynx remain atop with a stellar 14-2 record.

They are 8-0 at home and are the best team on both ends.

On the other hand, the Mystics have a decent 8-9 record, but they have a terrible 3-6 road record. The last meeting between the two flipped the odds as the underdogs Mystics beat the Lynx 64-68. So, they may as well turn the tables here.

However, I do believe Minnesota will win. But at the same time, I’d expect Washington to cover the bloated spread of +11.5.

WNBA Best Bet $#2- New York Liberty vs Los Angeles Sparks- Sparks +11.5 (-115)

The defending champs, Liberty, are reeling right now after a 9-0 start. They are 11-5 as Jonquel Jones’ prolonged absence and Sabrina Ionescu’s neck injury troubles have decimated them.

At the same time, NY has also faced the toughest schedule at the worst possible time, so the woes may be short-lived.

On the other hand, the Sparks have been mediocre all season long. They are 5-12, and two straight losses to bottom feeders, the Chicago Sky, don’t bode well for them. Some of these losses have been by 15+ points.

At any rate, I expect the Sparks to cover the spread of +11.5 despite their struggles. I believe Kelsey Plum and Rickea Jackson will take advantage of the shoddy backcourt play of Liberty these days.

WNBA Best Bet #3- Dallas Wings vs Phoenix Mercury- Money Line- Mercury (-300 Straight)

The Mercury have ascended to the second spot, thanks to the All-Star veteran duo of Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas. They are 12-5 and could have won seven straight if not for a close 81-84 loss against the Las Vegas Aces. On the other hand, the Wings are 5-13, but their play has improved a lot.

They have won four of their last six games, a period coinciding with Paige Bueckers’ return from injury. At any rate, I’d still choose Phoenix to win this one. It is a gimme to add to the two earlier gambits and make a solid three-piece parlay.
