The Friday WNBA slate is full of non-stop action. We have five matches on display as the race for the playoffs intensifies. There are several marquee match-ups as top teams, including the New York Liberty, Phoenix Mercury, Atlanta Dream, and Minnesota Lynx, will cross swords.

Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark may be in action for the Indiana Fever against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings, making it another fascinating watch. So, what bets can you choose to make it big on this exciting W basketball day?

WNBA Best pick #1: Phoenix Mercury vs New York Liberty- Money Line: Phoenix Mercury: -105

This is a huge match-up. The Liberty is placed second with 11 wins and 3 losses, whereas the Mercury has 11 wins and 4 losses for the third spot. Phoenix can grab the second rank if they win here. NY has lost three of its last five games and looks like a shell of itself after losing Jonquel Jones to an injury.

The Mercury is on a five-game winning streak, including an 8-point win against the Liberty just a week ago. Thus, I’d put money on them to win here.

WNBA Best pick #2: Golden State Valkyries vs Chicago Sky- Spread: Sky +8.5: -110

The Valkyries are the Cinderella story thus far. Their 7-7 record may not look much, but their fighting spirit is a lore of its own in the league. They lost by just three points to the Liberty in their last game, but are instilled with confidence after winning five of their last seven games.

On the other hand, the Sky should have a similar record to the Valkyries, but the team is 4-10. All their wins have been against teams with less than 30% win rate, which implies major issues. Losing Courtney Vandersloot didn’t help, but fortunately, Angel Reese has been more efficient after a cold start.

The Valkyries are unstoppable at their “Ballhalla” Chase Center court, where 18,000+ fans have ignited them. I see them winning here, but I also expect the Sky to cover the spread here.
