WNBA Best Bets: Same Game Parlay & Prediction for Dream vs Wings

Shubham Singh

The Atlanta Dream (24-14) is enjoying the best season of its franchise history. The one-two punch of Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray has received a big boost from Brionna Jones and Brittney Griner inside.

On the other hand, the Dallas Wings (9-30) continue to lose close games and are in danger of finishing last in the standings.

Paige Bueckers has provided hope for the future, but the franchise will need to put a more cohesive setup around her.

Can the Wings upset the confident Dream here? Here is my favorite Same Game Parlay for the game.

WNBA Best Bets: Dream vs WIngs Same Game Parlay

Allisha Gray: Points

Gray is having her career’s best season. She has put up a career-high 18.7 PPG, which is interestingly on the down after she had averaged 19+ for most parts.

Gray has put up 16 or more in three of the last four games. The Dream guard has scored 18.1 PPG against the Wings in three games, interestingly scoring 15 or fewer in two games.

I see her stepping up big here and contributing at least 16.

Gray O 15.5 Points

Here is an overview of the selections:

Gray O 15.5 PointsUndefined
Howard O 2.5 3-Pointers-110
Jones O 5.5 ReboundsUndefined
Spread: Wings +14.5-110

Rhyne Howard: 3-Pointers

Howard is the biggest shot-jacker in the league. She is averaging 16.3 PPG on a rather shabby 34.2% clip. Meanwhile, she has converted 2.8 triples per game on 29.3% FG.

The guard has attempted 31 deep-range shots in the last three games but has made 5 triples (16%). The streaky shooter is on the downturn. However, the Wings’ defense can help her settle down.

I see her knocking at least 3 this time.

Howard O 2.5 3-Pointers

Brionna Jones; Rebounds

Jones is a relentless rebounder. Her boardwork has been immense for the Dream to control the game on both ends. She is averaging 7.2 RPG, including almost 3 offensive rebounds/game.

The center has had 5+ rebounds in four of the last six games. I see her grabbing at least 6 boards again.

WNBA Best Bets: Dream vs Wings Prediction

The Dream has split their last six games. Four of these games have been decided by 2-6 points. On the other hand, the Wings have also had their fair share of close games.

Two of their recent losses have been by just one point.

Overall, the Wings have only had a chance largely due to Paige Bueckers. She is questionable for the game. So, her availability will determine a lot.

At any rate, the spread of -14.5 in favor of the Dream looks too high, so I choose Dallas to cover the spread but still lose.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
