The Connecticut Sun (9-28, 11th) has been among the teams with the worst record. Lately, they have played way better than their record suggests.
Although the Sun lost against the New York Liberty, they almost trumped the defending champs. The youth movement is in full flow for the Sun.
On the other hand, the Dallas Wings’ (9-29, 13th) youth movement is spearheaded by Paige Bueckers. Bueckers has been on a tear, but the Wings have lost five in a row.
The team needs a major overhaul, and the organization needs to put better talent around its talisman.

Paige Bueckers: Points and Assists
Bueckers has become a maestro of offensive playmaking in her rookie year. She is posting 19 PPG(5th), 5.2 APG (9th).
The guard is shooting an outstanding 46.6% FG, converting 1.2 3-pointers on a respectable 33.9%.
Bueckers has scored 9-11 points in the last two games. Before that, she had put up 18 or more in seven of the last nine games. I see her contributing at least 19 here.
On the other hand, she dished 9 assists in the last game and has managed 5 or more helpers in three of the last six games. I see her handing out at least 5 here.
Note that Bueckers is QUESTIONABLE for the game. Thus, there is a substantial chance of her missing the game.

Siegrist is showing why she is the 2023 Draft #3 pick. The 3rd-year player is averaging career-highs of 12.1 PPG and 4.7 RPG. She has managed her numbers on an excellent 49.2% shooting.
The forward was injured earlier in the season but has been in top form since her return. She has logged 13 points or more in five of the last six games.
Meanwhile, she has grabbed at least 5 rebounds in four of the last six games. I see her following this trend here, too.
Siegrist O 12.5 Points and 4.5 Rebounds
The 4-leg SGP looks worth trying. Bueckers is injured but can bounce back with a big night, as she is a fighter. On the other hand, Siegrist has been an active slasher and rebounder for the Wings.
The Sun is playing its best basketball of the season. They have won four out of their last six games. The losses were close, and it could have been easily a six-game winning streak.
Apart from vets Marina Mabrey and Tina Charles, the two-play of rookies, Leila Lacan and Saniya Rivers, have made a big difference.
Meanwhile, the Wings are 1-10 in the last eleven games. They will be in for more pain if Bueckers misses out here because she has kept them close in most of the losses.
If she plays, I see the Wings breaking their losing spell. If she doesn’t, then consider this SGP null and avoid.
