The Washington Mystics (16-21, 10th) are on the cusp of losing their playoff standing. The twin losses to the Connecticut Sun and the latest loss to the Las Vegas Aces have derailed their campaign.
Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen have been a must-watch rookie duo, but not enough to cover upthe Mystics’ shortcomings.
On the other hand, the Seattle Storm (19-18, 7th) has underachieved massively. The loaded roster with four All-Stars should have acquired a 60% win mark. Somehow, they are still fighting for a playoff spot.
At any rate, the Citron vs Skylar Diggins match-up will be something to hold. Can the rookie give some hiccups to the vet? Here is my favorite All-Rookie Same Game Parlay for the match-up.
Kiki Iriafen: Rebounds
Iriafen has been tremendous in terms of scoring and rebounding. The forward has stacked six double-doubles in the last seven games. She has collected 10 or more rebounds in seven straight match-ups now. Thus, I’d opt for her to grab at least 9 boards here.
Iriafen: 8+ Rebounds
| Picks | BetMGM Odds |
| Iriafen O 8.5 Rebounds | Undefined (Projected -120) |
| Citron O 15.5 Points | -110 |
| Malonga O 10.5 Points & 5.5 Rebounds | Undefined |
| Spread: Storm -8.5 | -118 |
Sonia Citron: Points
Rookie Sonia Citron has played a veteran on many occasions. Her ability to score from multiple areas shows she is more than just a catch-and-shoot player.
The guard has tallied 15.3 PPG and has scored 16 or more in five of the last eight games. I see her scoring at least 16 again.
Citron O 15.5 Points for -110 at BetMGM
Dominique Malonga: Points and Rebounds
#2 draft pick Malonga has shown why she was selected so high. Malonga has been a second-half season riser for the Storm.
The center is averaging 7.2 PPG and 4.5 RPG, but lately, these numbers don’t translate the reality. Malonga is tallying 13.9 PPG and 7 RPG in the last nine games.
I believe she will have another 10+ points and 5+ rebounds game here against the exhausted Mystics.
Malonga O 10.5 Points and 5.5 Rebounds

The 4-leg parlay here is a bit tricky. Iriafen and Citron are coming after playing on the previous night and will play against a chippy Storm squad.
However, the rookies have shown tremendous stamina, so I trust in their abilities. The Malonga pick looks safe considering her incredible form.
Mystics vs Storm SGP: Iriafen O 8.5 Rebounds, Citron O 15.5 Points, Malonga O 10.5 Points, O 5.5 Rebounds for +240 at BetMGM
The Mystics have exceeded expectations, but their bubble is bursting in the late-season scenario. Their lack of concentration has held them back immensely.
On the other hand, the Storm hasn’t been impressive throughout the season. They have broken multiple winning streaks but are unable to stitch such streaks themselves.
The team is yet to win more than three in a row, and a recent six-game losing streak took a big hit on their record.
At the same time, I expect them to get the job done here against a struggling Mystics team that is in a back-to-back scene. Thus, I see Seattle covering the spread.
Mystics vs Storm Spread: Storm -8.5 for -118 at BetMGM

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
