The Golden State Warriors will be back in action on Saturday, January 25 in another fiery clash of the NBA Rivals Week as they clash against the Los Angeles Lakers. They will be on the back of a 131-106 blowout win over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Chase Center.

The game saw Stephen Curry leading the charge with 21 points, 7 assists and five three-pointers. The 36-year-old was earlier listed as questionable in the injury report due to bilateral knee injury management. He has been dealing with it throughout the season and has rested quite a few times.

Curry, the Warriors’ top performer, has been the only bright spot in his side’s struggling season marred by key injuries and lineup adjustments. He has played 35 games this season, and averaged 22.6 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.9 rebounds.

According to the latest media reports, Stephen Curry is all set to clash against the Lakers in the upcoming clash. The Athletic’s Anthony Slater shared an update about the Warriors’ injuries which indicates that Curry will feature in the Lakers’ match.

Sharing a positive report, Slater revealed that Kyle Anderson is all set to make his comeback against the Lakers tonight. He missed five straight matches due to a hip injury sustained earlier this month. Moreover, Gary Payon II, Andrew Wiggins and Brandin Podziemski are listed probable while Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga continue to sit out.

The Warriors are 22-22 this season, occupying 11th spot, while the Lakers are 24-18, sitting on the fifth spot in the Western Conference standings.
