Will Paige Bueckers Play Tonight? Let's find out!

The Dallas Wings will welcome the Chicago Sky at College Park in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, May 31 for the rematch of their previous game on Thursday. In their last meeting, the Sky used their home court advantage and defeated the Wings 97-92. The Wings will be keen on avenging the defeat and would want to extend their win tally at home.

As both teams gear up for another anticipated clash of the season, tensions loom over the Wings. The Dallas-based franchise shared a concerning update regarding their star rookie, Paige Bueckers. They revealed that the first overall pick of the 2025 WNBA Draft sustained a concussion, and listed her on the injury report.

It remains unclear when exactly the Rookie suffered the injury, but it seemingly occurred during the second quarter of Thursday’s game against Angel Reese’s Sky. After grabbing a rebound, Bueckers brought the ball out while Courtney Vandersloot was defending. While Bueckers tried to dribble past Vandersloot, the two ended up clashing their heads, while a blocking foul was called on the Sky legend.

The 23-year-old remained on the floor and took a few minutes to compose herself. However, she didn’t leave the court, and was able to finish the game with 15 points, five rebounds, and eight assists. However, she has landed herself on the injury report for the forthcoming game.
