Nick Emmanwori (full name Nicholas Ovundah Eze Emmanwori) is a former South Carolina safety. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round with pick number 35 overall in the 2025 NFL draft. As a freshman, he made an immediate impact with 85 tackles (62 solo) and one tackle for loss, earning SEC All-Freshman honors. In his junior season, he recorded a career-high 88 tackles and led the SEC with two interceptions returned for touchdowns.
Emmanwori also earned First-Team All-American and All-SEC honors. Over 37 games with the Gamecocks, Emmanwori totaled 244 tackles (166 solo), four tackles for loss, six interceptions, and 11 pass deflections.
Nico Emmanwori was born to Justina Emmanwori, though there is no information available about his father in the public domain. He has four brothers, one of whom, Okachi, went to Wofford College and played football as a cornerback.
