Who Are Jaxson Dart’s Parents? – Inside the Upbringing of the Giants’ Rookie QB

The Playoffs News Team

Exploring the family ties that helped shape Jaxson Dart’s path to football stardom.

Jaxson Dart’s rise from college prospect to NFL starter has been one of 2025’s most intriguing quarterback stories. Selected 25th overall by the New York Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft, Dart began the season as Russell Wilson’s understudy before being thrust into the spotlight after the team’s winless 0-3 start. The move quickly paid off. In his first career start against the then-unbeaten Los Angeles Chargers, Dart completed 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards and added a rushing touchdown, guiding the Giants to their first victory of the season.

Before turning pro, Dart showcased his dual-threat ability at Ole Miss and USC, where he transferred after an early commitment to Arizona State. A Utah native with a reputation for poise and toughness, he honed his craft under former ASU quarterback Taylor Kelly during off-season sessions in Tempe. Now, with the Giants’ offense officially under his command, Dart’s journey from college standout to NFL QB1 is only just beginning.

Dart was born on May 13, 2003, in Kaysville, Utah, to parents Kara and Brandon Dart, both of whom were college athletes. But there is no further information available about either of their current whereabouts in the public domain.
