We are less than a week away from the 2025 NBA Draft and with each passing day, the market has been heating up with multiple rumors. While there is excitement among fans, the franchises and the players are aiming to find the best suitor for themselves. The forthcoming event will be the 79th edition of the NBA Draft and similar to its previous edition, the event will take place over two nights.

It will consist of 59 picks as opposed to the regular 60 picks since the New York Knicks lost a second-round pick from a free agency violation in 2022. As final preparations begin and the fraternity gears for another exciting season of the NBA, let’s go through all the important information one must know about the NBA Draft 2025.

When is the NBA Draft 2025?

The NBA Draft 2025 is scheduled on June 25, 2025 and June 26, 2025 at Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York. While the first round will take place on Wednesday, the second round will take place on Thursday. It is going to take place in the same two-night format which was announced in 2024.

The first round of the NBA Draft 2025 will have five minutes between draft picks while the second round, the time will reduce to four minutes.

NBA Draft 2025 Kick Off Time and Where to Watch

The first round of the NBA Draft 2025 is set to kick off at 8 pm ET on Wednesday, while the second round will begin at 8 pm ET on Thursday.

NBA fans would be able to catch the live action of NBA Draft 2025 first round on ABC and ESPN. The broadcast for the second round, however, will be available on ESPN only.
