One of the best things about the NBA is that the action never stops! Following the conclusion of the 2025 NBA Finals, we saw the 30 teams picking their new faces for the forthcoming season in the two-day NBA Draft. And when the thrill seemed to slow down, the league now moves to the NBA Summer League. For the unversed, the Summer League, or the Las Vegas Summer League, is an off-season basketball competition which is organized by the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The league has teams coming together to play different summer rosters instead of their regular season lineups. It includes rookies, sophomores, and even G League affiliate players. The current NBA Summer League also features the California Classic and Salt Lake City Summer League in addition to the Las Vegas Summer League.

2025 NBA Summer League Format and Dates

The NBA 2K26 Summer League 2025 will feature all the 30 teams across 76 games, set to kick off on July 10. In the 11-day contest, each team will play at least five games, the first four from July 10 to 17. From there, the top four teams after each team’s first four games will advance to participate in the playoffs.

The playoffs will kick off with a semifinal doubleheader on Saturday, July 19 at 4 pm ET and 6 pm ET. The winners of the respective games will clash in the championship game on Sunday, July 20 at 10 pm ET. It is to be noted that the winning percentage of each team’s first four games will decide their seeds for the playoffs.

However, the remaining teams that don’t advance to the playoffs will clash in a fifth game scheduled on either July 18, July 19, or July 20.

The games for the NBA 2K26 Summer League 2025 will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
