Week 2 Raiders vs. Chargers Same Game Parlay and Best Underdog Bets

Eric Divakaran

Monday Night Football lights up Allegiant Stadium as AFC West rivals, the 1-0 Los Angeles Chargers, face the 1-0 Las Vegas Raiders in a battle for early divisional supremacy. The Chargers stunned the Chiefs 27-21 in Sao Paulo for Week 1, with Justin Herbert slinging 318 yards and three touchdowns. While rookie QB Omarion Hampton added 67 rushing yards on 15 carries. Jim Harbaugh’s squad now eyes a 2-0 start on the road.

The Raiders are fresh off a gritty 20-13 road win over the Patriots, relying on Geno Smith’s efficient arm and Ashton Jeanty’s run game, despite his modest debut. With Las Vegas’ secondary projected as the NFL’s weakest, Herbert and the Chargers are looking to run away and secure a 2-0 lead in their division.

Raiders vs Chargers Same Game Parlay

Here are some of the best parlays for tonight’s game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers, according to FanDuel.

Same Game Parlay 1

Omarion Hampton Anytime touchdown (-120) + Ashton Jeanty Anytime Touchdown + Ladd McConkey Anytime Touchdown (+135)

Omarion Hampton scoring a touchdown is likely at -120. He had 15 carries in Week 1, and the Raiders’ run defense allowed 112 yards, favoring his red-zone opportunities.

Ashton Jeanty scoring a touchdown at any time is a solid bet because in Week 1, he had 19 carries for 38 yards but scored a four-yard touchdown. The Chargers’ defense allowed a rushing touchdown last week, and with Jeanty carrying loads, he’s primed for red-zone opportunities.

Ladd McConkey scoring a touchdown anytime is a strong +135 value bet. He caught 6 passes for 74 yards in Week 1, leading the Chargers’ receivers despite not scoring. The Raiders’ defense is an alarming concern, due to which the end zone remains vulnerable to slot threats like McConkey.

Same Game Parlay 2

LA Chargers’ 1st drive result in an offensive TD (+240) + Geno Smith 250 plus yards passing (+108) + Ashton Jeanty 15+ receiving yards (-130)

The Chargers scoring an offensive TD on their first drive is a very juicy bet. In Week 1, they immediately opened the game with an early TD against the Chiefs, showcasing Harbaugh’s aggressive tempo. The Raiders will remain vulnerable throughout the game, as their defense is still a big question, with Herbert’s precision being crisp to start the season in Week 1.

Geno Smith surpassing 250 yards is a strong bet after throwing 362 yards on 24 of 24 attempts in Week 1. The Chargers allowed 249 passing yards in their opener, setting up Smith to exploit their secondary.

Ashton Jeanty may exceed 15 plus yards as he caught targets as the Raiders’ primary pass-catching RB. With Brock Bowers potentially limited by injury, expect 4-6 targets against the Chargers’ coverage, which allowed 45 receiving yards to RBs last week against the Chiefs.

Same Game Parlay 3

Justin Herbert passing yards over 275+ yards (+140) + Ladd McConkey receiving yards over 70 (-140) + Brock Bowers receiving yards over 60 (-128)

Justin Herbert exceeding 275 passing yards is a solid bet after throwing 318 yards in Week 1. The Raiders’ secondary allowed 362 yards last week, setting up Herbert to exploit mismatches with Ladd McConkey.

Ladd McConkey surpassing 70 receiving yards is a strong bet at -140 because he had 74 yards on 6 catches in Week 1. The Raiders’ defense, as mentioned a lot of times earlier, is alarming and vulnerable to McConkey’s slot routes.

While he may still be a little off due to injuries, Brock Bowers surpassing 60 yards receiving is a strong bet at -128. He exploded for 103 yards on 5 catches in Week 1. The Chargers’ defense has been impressive thus far, but it could be vulnerable to pass-catching TEs like Bowers in a high-volume Raiders offense.

Raiders vs. Chargers Best Underdog Bets

Underdog BetsOdds
Brock Bowers 70+ yards receiving +128
Jakobi Meyers 70+ yards receiving +140
Justin Herbert 300+ yards +240

Brock Bowers exceeding 70 receiving yards is a solid bet after 103 yards on 5 catches in Week 1. While the Chargers are great defensively, we still do not know how they will flair against a very talented pass-catching TE like Brock Bowers. As we do need to remember that the Chargers won against a Chiefs team that was depleted of their two best WRs.

Jakobi Meyers topping 70 receiving yards is likely after 97 yards on 8 catches in Week 1. The Chargers allowed the Chiefs to throw 249 yards last week, setting up Meyers for big slot routes.

Justin Herbert exceeding 300 passing yards is likely after throwing 318 yards in Week 1. The Raiders’ secondary defense allowed way over 362 yards last week, which makes us believe that Herbert can cross the 300 plus yards mark.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
