Trae Young produced an insane buzzer-beater from beyond the halfcourt to help the Atlanta Hawks snatch a last-moment win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night. His 49-foot game-winner was one of the best plays of the NBA season.

NBA fans are experiencing top plays in the NBA this month. Yesterday, it was Coby White who posterised Wembanyama with an emphatic slam in the clutch time and today, Trae Young threw down a wild three-pointer to electrify the crowd.

Trae Young just hit the 7th-farthest game-winning buzzer-beater in NBA history. He spoiled the heroics of Collin Sexton, who hit a decisive 3-pointer to tie the game with four seconds left.

Young denied any chance of going into overtime as he dribbled to halfcourt after taking a pass and hit a 49-foot game-winner. He attempted a final play of the game in just 2.9 seconds.

Atlanta Hawks snap a three-game skid

Young finished with 24 points and 20 assists in a 124-121 win for the Atlanta Hawks. Dyson Daniels had 16 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. Clint Capela chipped in with 18 points and De’Andre Hunter had 17.

Atlanta Hawks had a 93-89 lead heading into the final quarter and the Jazz tied the game twice in the fourth. Utah took a 114-113 lead on consecutive dunks from Kessler. However, Hawks replied with Young’s step-back 3-pointer followed by a jump shot from Hunter.

Collin Sexton charged Utah Jazz with 24 points and hit a pull-up jump shot with four seconds left but Young’s half-court basket assured first win for Atlanta after three straight defeats. The Hawks are 2-3 in their six-game road trip and they will take on Phoenix Suns in the last road game.
