The Mystics’ offense has been a problem. They are one of the four teams to tally below 80 PPG(78.8 PPG). On the other hand, their defense is decent as they hold teams to around 80 PPG. However, the Sparks raised a riot on them, scoring 90+ on two straight occasions.

Meanwhile, the Storm has played some underwhelming offense lately, scoring fewer than 80 points in four of its last five games. But their defense has also been superb, limiting squads to 70 on multiple occasions. Overall, this has the makings of a low scorer.

Skylar Diggins O 16.5 points: Diggins is averaging 17.5 PPG but had a low period recently. She had 10-14 points in three straight games. But I see her coming back to form here after and going “over” the projected mark.

Shakira Austin O 14.5 points: Austin is tallying 12.6 PPG but has improved a lot lately. She has put up 15-17 points in four of the last five games.

Gabby Williams O 5.5 Rebounds: Williams is tallying 4.8 RPG and will probably get a chance to clean up a ton of misses, considering this can be a low scorer. I see her going “Over” the rebounds mark.

Washington Mystics vs Seattle Storm Spread Prediction

Both these teams are enigmatic, but there is a difference. The Storm has strong three play makers and superb inside-outside playmaking. They have an All-Star trio and yet struggle to put together consistent offense.

Meanwhile, the Mystics lack similar experience and have actually done better than projected. The Storm will need to bring their A-game here against a strong squad. The Storm didn’t last time and lost to Washington 69-74.

I think the Storm will correct their mistakes and nab a win here to tie the season series.
