Here are the injury reports and predicted lineups for Mystics and Sun ahead of Sunday-night's encounter.

The Washington Mystics are set to welcome the Connecticut Sun in an anticipated clash on Sunday, June 8, in their second meetup of the season. In their previous meeting, the Mystics recorded a significant win over the Sun, and gained a 1-0 lead in the head-to-head record. Talking about their recent matchups, the Mystics will head into the game on the back of a loss to the New York Liberty. On the other hand, the Sun took down the Atlanta Dream in their most-recent fixture. 

In their 2025 campaigns, Washington has maintained an offensive rating of 76.9 points, while Connecticut is averaging 70.9 points per game. In terms of the defensive ratings, the Mystics are 80.8 points per game while the Suns are 89.1. In addition to it, the Mystics are better than the Sun in terms of shooting efficiency at 42.4% as compared to the former’s 39.6%.

Georgia Amoore- Out (ACL Injury) 

Georgia Amoore is dealing with an ACL injury and had to undergo surgery last month. She is set to miss the entire 2025 WNBA season. 

Connecticut Sun’s Injuries 

Lindsay Allen- Questionable (Hamstring Injury)
Rayah Marshall- Out (Ankle)
Olivia Nelson-Ododa- Questionable (Ankle)
Leila Lacan-Out (Overseas Commitment)

The Connecticut Sun have a long injury report listing a total of four players. Lindsay Allen and Olivia Nelson-Ododa have been listed as questionable due to hamstring and ankle injuries, respectively. Rayah Marshall, has been listed out with ankle injury and will miss her fourth game of this season due to the injury. Leila Lacan will remain out until July due to an overseas commitment, as per Emily Adams of The Hartford Courant.
