The Golden State Warriors are not yet done making moves in the NBA trade market and reportedly continuing their search for a star player. After landing Dennis Schroder from Brooklyn Nets in a trade move, the Dubs are continuing their search for a star player to add alongside Stephen Curry.

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler has been floated as a potential target. According to ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel, the team is willing to discuss the trade value of young core players including Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, and Brandin Podziemski.

And now it seems that Jonathan Kuminga could be the player the Warriors include in a trade deal to secure a star player.

On Sunday, Jonathan Kuminga shared a cryptic post on Instagram that quickly grabbed attention.

The timing of the post, amid growing trade rumors and contract talks, has sparked speculation that Kuminga could be on his way out of Golden State.

Kuminga’s demand for a max contract extension and failing to reach an agreement before the start of the 2024-25 NBA season could be one of the reason Warriors are willing to part ways with the exciting young talent.

Steve Kerr and Co. had refused to include Kuminga in any potential deal before the start of the season, showing they wanted to commit to young talent.

However, with no agreement reached before the October 21 deadline, Kuminga’s future with the team looked uncertain.
